CATHEDRAL PRECINCT OUTDOOR MASS

COMPANION MASS AT NAZARETH HOUSE CHAPEL - Tuesday 1st October

This Mass is an opportunity for children aged 10-18 to provide a service of companionship during their school holidays. Younger siblings are welcome to attend also as a family unit. Arriving at 9.30am, prior to the Mass beginning at 10am, each child will have the opportunity to accompany a resident of Nazareth House to Mass and share morning tea with them afterwards. This is also the Memorial of St Therese of the Child Jesus, who reminds us that we are all made to bring joy to the child Jesus. Please register your interest with Therese Fisher theresegp@gmail.com

WOMEN’S RETREAT

“Freedom to Be Loved & to Love as Women” is the theme for the retreat. Starting at Genesis where our knots were tied up through Eve, we will journey with the Lord allowing Him to untie the lies of the enemy; concluding with Mary who shows us how to be loved and love freely as a woman.

GOLDEN CATHOLICS SOUTH CANTERBURY 

The Catholic Development Fund and Holy Family Parish are hosting Bishop Michael on Friday, 18 October at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Timaru. Bishop Michael will celebrate Mass at 11:00 am before sharing his journey to priesthood.

SILENT RETREAT OPPORTUNITY
