NAMING OUR CATHEDRAL

Bishop Michael has initiated a process for choosing a patronal name for the new Cathedral. People are invited to nominate a patronal name, and offer a brief explanation why, between now and 9th June. A short-list will then be shared for consideration before Bishop Michael discerns the name, which he will announce in late July. Visit https://cdoc.nz/cathedral to submit your nomination or ask your parish team for a paper form. Please join Bishop Michael in praying:

Holy Spirit, inspire us as we discern a name for our new cathedral. Lead our Diocese to a patronal name that can encourage, challenge and comfort the People of God, and someone on whom we can rely for intercession. Amen.
