YEAR OF PRAYER: EVENING TALKS AT ST GREGORY’S “Praying with Scripture Through the Ignatian Method”

Wednesday 9th October, 7pm

St Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises are a powerful method for encountering Jesus Christ and growing to know, love and serve him more. This session, led by Dr Mary Allan, will introduce you to some of the key elements in the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises and invite you to engage and experience those, enabling you to use them in your own prayer life.

GOLDEN CATHOLICS SOUTH CANTERBURY 

The Catholic Development Fund and Holy Family Parish are hosting Bishop Michael on Friday, 18 October at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Timaru. Bishop Michael will celebrate Mass at 11:00 am before sharing his journey to priesthood.

Parish to Parish for Bed and Breakfast, Catholics throughout Nrw Zealand and a few in Australia host Catholics in their homes, a wonderful way for Catholics to meet and enjoy the company of other Catholics A contribution of $50 for one person, and $30 for each additional guest, this is per night. E.g two people would pay $80 per night.

WOMEN’S RETREAT
