In early August, around 170 men gathered at St Teresa’s Church in Riccarton for the second annual Men’s Breakfast, hosted by Bishop Michael Gielen. The event opened at 6.30am with Adoration, followed by breakfast. Two of the men shared something of their own faith, and how it had deepened with the help of the consecration to St Joseph.
The first breakfast last year unveiled a statue of St Joseph, which has now been given to the Holy Family parish and will be in men’s homes for three months before it moves on to the next parish.
