There is a great network of young adults in the Diocese who would love to connect young Catholics aged between 18-35. There are various parish young adults groups and there are also other informal groups of young adults that gather for regular prayer, praise and worship, tramping and social meet ups. There is also a young adults overnight retreat each year organised by either the Catholic Youth Team or one of our Parish Young Adults groups.
No matter your background or where you are on your faith journey, our young adults are really welcoming and would love to have you make contact.

Located at Kolbe House on 5 Rountree Street, Ilam, the CTC team serve the pastoral needs of students throughout their time at the University of Canterbury, Lincoln University and Ara Institute of Canterbury.
The team hope to create an environment where students serve students, fostering third-level students in their Catholic life and forming the future leaders of the Catholic Church. They achieve this by building community, providing sacraments, establishing one-on-one contact that helps build relationships, gathering small groups together led by missionaries and hosting retreats and large events.
