Your contributions to Bishop Michael's Bishops Appeal this Advent enable us to support our future priests Matthew, Linh and Ignatius. To give to the Bishop’s Appeal, you can donate online through our website or through the envelopes available in your local parish.
Bishop Michael’s vision is to have strong, thriving, and sustainable parishes across our Diocese. To achieve this, the running of parish capital campaigns is essential for building and restoration of our churches and facilities.
CSS provides professional services to the community including high quality counselling, group programmes, and practical support at no charge to anyone in need.
For over 30 years the Catholic Youth Team has been working with the young people of Diocese running dynamic and positive youth events and supporting local youth workers and volunteers.
Bishop Michael has given his Blessing to the appointment of 100 Patrons of the Chapel of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, the new Chapel being established as part of the new campus for Marian College.
Planned Giving supplements the collection taken up at Sunday Mass and provides each parish with a regular income to provide against the running costs of the Parish, the living expense stipend for the Priests and for the maintenance and growth of the mission of our parishes. Please contact your local parish to set up a Planned Giving facility.
"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
