Pope Francis 10 secrets to happiness

“Live and let live”.

Everyone should be guided by this principle of moving forward and allowing others to do the same.

“Be giving of yourself to others.”

People need to be open and generous towards others because if you withdraw into yourself you run the risk of becoming egocentric.

“Proceed calmly” in life.

Youth is like a stream full of rocks that are carried with you; As an adult, a rushing river; and in old age you are still moving, but slowly, like a pool of water, moving calmly with kindness and humility.

“A healthy sense of leisure”.

Consumerism has brought us anxiety and stress. Time is swallowed up. Set aside time to play; turn off the TV and allow communication and conversation to flow.

Sundays should be holidays.

Sunday is for family.

Find innovative ways to create dignified jobs for young people.

Dignity is given to you when you can provide for yourself and your family from your own efforts.

Respect and take care of nature.

Environmental degradation is one of our biggest challenges.

Be positive.

Letting go of negative things quickly is a healthy way to live.

Respect the beliefs of others.

Do not try to persuade others to think as you do. Accept they have their own beliefs and their own identity.

Work for peace.

The call for peace must be shouted. Peace is never quiet; peace is proactive, demanding to be heard.
