This national tour is an invitation - not just to learn about our newest and youngest saint, St Carlo Acutis - but to encounter the same Jesus he loved so deeply.
Tour events will feature:
– Eucharistic Adoration
– Veneration of the relic
– Talks focused on the Eucharist and the life and witness of St Carlo
St Carlo Acutis, who was canonised in September 2025, was an Italian teenager with a deep Catholic faith and a passion for spreading that faith using technology. Among his online projects was a website of eucharistic miracles, which he built before he died in 2006 at the age of 15. He has been dubbed by many “the patron saint of the internet”, in light of that work.
“St Carlo helps to inspire young people to think about how they can live a life that is inspired by God and shaped by God’s love, his peace and his mercy.
“While our Church is blessed with countless holy men and women in the communion of saints, a millennial joining those ranks can speak to today’s young people in new ways.” Bishop Michael Gielen
Carlo, "in love with God", lived this strong presence of the divine in his earthly life and tried in every way to transmit it generously to others and still now, continues to intercede so that everyone can put God in the first place in their lives and say like Carlo: "Not me, but God"; "Not self-love but the glory of God"; "Sadness is looking at ourselves, happiness is looking towards God."
St Carlo Acutis designed and created the International Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition. The Exhibition will be on display in the Narthex of St Mary's Pro-Cathedral from Wednesday 17th June - Saturday 20th June. Find more information about the exhibition at the links below.
