Being a Fruitful Parish Intentionally

In October, in collaboration with Divine Renovation, the Christchurch Diocese hosted the visit of Cathy Kennedy, the evangelisation coordinator for St Declan’s Parish in Sydney.
This full day workshop was a follow-up to a workshop held earlier in the year by her parish priest, Fr Chris Ryan MGL. More than 80 of our parish leaders, from 13 parishes, gathered to hear something of Cathy Kennedy’s experience of evangelisation. We were inspired by her practical insights in support of parishes being intentional in building a culture of evangelisation, especially in drawing upon the Alpha tool.
A particular highlight was learning about the thresholds of conversion,
and how each person can journey and accompany people towards being disciples of Our Lord.
