Samoan Community Celebrate 60 Year Milestone
The Catholic Cathedral Samoan Community recently celebrated 60 years in our Diocese. The Cathedral parish-based Community, the oldest of five Samoan Communities in the Diocese, was established in 1963 and is guided by the patronage of St Michael the Archangel.
The Cathedral Samoan Community continues to grow and thrive under the chaplaincy of Fr Paulo Filoialii, who fosters a sense of unity and spiritual strength among all Samoan communities within the Diocese. We are privileged to have such a vibrant and devoted community enriching our Diocese with their faith and traditions.
