A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis will be offered at 12.05 pm on Friday 25th April at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral.
The funeral of Pope Francis will take place this Saturday 26th April at 10:00am (Rome time), which is Saturday 8.00pm NZT. The funeral is expected to be streamed live — via the Vatican News YouTube channel, along with its website and Facebook page.

His Holiness, Pope Francis passed away at 7.35am Rome time on Monday, 21 April 2025.
